About the program

Agriculture internships will be conducted on farms abroad, offering Kenyan students an exceptional chance to immerse themselves in a new work environment and experience a different work culture firsthand. What you need to know about this internship

  • You will be working according to the Danish working standard, 37 hours per week.
  • Legislation ensures consistent training hours, with separate compensation for training on weekends and holidays
  • Training allowances are typically disbursed monthly, usually in the last days of the month
  • Additionally, interns are entitled to scheduled rest days, often occurring every second week
  • 5 weeks paid vacation
  • 12,5% of holliday allowance
  • Payment of 7% from the monthly salary to a flex account
  • All contracts are valid for 18 months 
  • Interns will receive a training allowance increase after the six months of employment 

Monthly Allowance

  • First 6 months is 12.371,06 DKK  per month (before taxes), 
  • 7-18 months of work – 14.350,21 DKK  per month (before taxes), 
  • 7-18 months of work, if the intern is over 25 years old – 16.613,39  DKK per month (before taxes).

Qualification

  • Age :18 to 29 by the time of application.
  • You are currently enrolled in a diploma, degree or master’s and have at least completed the first year, but you must not have graduated   
  • The internship must have a professional connection to the education you have started in your home country
  • You must be in an accredited agriculture college or university : 
  • Must be interested in Agriculture animal husbandry and production (Cow and pg production animal breeding management
    Veterinary, Equine. Horticulture.
  • Have verifiable English language skills at min 5.5/ B1IELTS
  • Valid driver’s Linces is not a must but a plus
  • CV in English
  • Motivational letter in English
